AliMed® Curved Toboggan Arm/Leg Guard provides extra protection on top of extremities while shielding physician from sharp edges. Easy-to-use, easy-to-clean, crystal clear radiolucent shield (also known as a sled) keeps arms and legs on the table, helping to prevent interference with IV lines while protecting the ulnar nerve against pressure. Just slip the Toboggan under the pad and the patient’s weight holds it in place. Made of clear Vivak®—a lightweight, highly break-resistant material that is stronger than acrylic! Can also be easily integrated into your Trendelenburg protocol using the AliMed Trendelenburg Stabilizer (sold separately). Available in three sizes: Small is great for upper body procedures, Medium fits most average-size patients’ extremities, and Large accommodates larger arms and legs. Sold in pairs.
