AliMed® Release Pommel Wheelchair Cushion with Solid Seat Insert™ (SSI) controls hip adduction and limits forward sliding with drop-away feature that allows the patient to scoot forward for simple, unhindered transfers. Pommel attaches with hook-and-loop strap. Cushion also features a convex-bottom, closed-cell foam, solid seat base to form a stable, flat sitting surface that eliminates sling-seat sag and promotes an upright sitting posture without increasing the overall seat cushion height. Nonremovable, wipeable, nonslip black vinyl cover is incontinence-resistant with rear ties for security. Available in two widths: 16″ and 18″.
