AliMed® Standardized Equipment Weight Capacity Label gives quick recognition of the weight capacity of equipment while maintaining patient dignity. These labels help facilities meet the criteria for SRC Centers of Excellence for Bariatric Centers. Vinyl labels are printed in large type that’s easy to read from 6′ to 8′ away, subtly indicating weight capacity through numerical coding and colors. Labels adhere to flat or curved surfaces on the following materials: Wood (chairs, crutches, rehabilitation treatment tables), metal (wheelchairs, walkers, canes, patient lifts), plastic (patient shifters, transfer boards), and vinyl (wheelchairs, geri-chairs). Available in 9 label types: 30-100 (all 25 per pack, see details below), “Not Bariatric” (150 per pack), or Blank Writeable (150 per pack).

Note: Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) requires that facilities have equipment available for morbidly obese patients and that all staff members can easily recognize the weight capacity for each piece of equipment.
