AliMed® Type C-50 Heavy-Duty AFO Brace is trimmed low in the malleolus area, reducing medial/lateral stability to allow some plantarflexion. Malleolus fitting is normally not required. Overall specifications: provides dorsliflexion, some plantarflextion, some medial/lateral stability, some dorsiflexion assist, and is lasted for normal shoes. For most users, custom braces are unnecessary. These pre-fabricated braces eliminate messy casting and annoying delays. Without modification, braces fit up to 80% of patients and can be quickly customized with a heat gun if needed. Available in Left or Right in three sizes.
