Comfy Splints™ Pediatric Opposition Hand/Thumb Orthosis features an adjustable C-bar support to hold thumb in opposition. Completely adjustable thumb enclosure positions MCP, PIP, and DIP joints. Accommodates for abducted or adducted thumbs. Adjustable thumb post supports the wrist and thumb without stretching the thenar eminence. Provides gradual extension of nonfixed contractures of the wrist, hand, and thumb. Side wings prevent ulnar/radial deviation. Properly sized for a child’s anatomy, this customizable splint features adjustable metal frames that bend to fit without heat or additional tools. Terrycloth cover is soft, removable, and machine-washable with thicker foam padding. DriRelease® fabric embedded with Freshguard® to help absorb moisture and neutralize odors. Fits left or right. Available in Left or Right. Covers are color-coded by size: Small (Purple), Medium (Turquoise), or Large (Emerald Green).
