The collar contains a large trachea opening, allowing for carotid pulse monitoring and emergency tracheotomies. Anterior and posterior rigid plastic reinforcement supports limited movement. Total cervical arch support maintains neutral alignment of the cervical spine. Easily customized for individual requirements. Non-toxic, hypoallergenic Plastazote® foam reduces skin irritation. Water-resistant for bathing and aqua-therapy. Not made with natural rubber latex. Optional Stabilizer sold separately. Collar available in three sizes and three neck heights: 2-1/4″, 3-1/4″, and 4-1/4″.
